The Client may cancel the catering services by providing written notice to the Caterer. b. If the cancellation is made 5 or more business days prior to the scheduled event date, the Client will be entitled to a full refund of any deposits or advance payments made, minus any non-refundable expenses incurred by the Caterer. c. If the cancellation is made less than 5 business days prior to the scheduled event date, the Client may be subject to a cancellation fee as determined by the Caterer, based on the following schedule: 4 to 5 day before the event: Cancellation fee of 25% of the total agreed-upon contract price. 3 days before the event: Cancellation fee of 50% of the total agreed-upon contract price. The Caterer reserves the right to cancel the catering services in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or any situation that would prevent the Caterer from fulfilling its obligations. b. In such cases, the Caterer will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative solutions or reschedule the event. If this is not possible or acceptable to the Client, the Caterer will refund any deposits or advance payments made by the Client. c. The Caterer will not be liable for any other costs or damages incurred by the Client due to the cancellation. Changes to the Event: a. If the Client wishes to make changes to the event details, such as the date, time, or location, the Client must provide written notice to the Caterer as soon as possible. b. The Caterer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the requested changes. However, additional charges may apply depending on the nature and extent of the changes. Force Majeure: a. In the event of a force majeure event, the affected party shall promptly notify the other party and make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact of the event.
